Electrical and mechanical applications should be submitted via DPS eServices. Commercial mechanical applications should be emailed to

Licenses
Electrical
All electrician licenses are now issued by the State of Maryland. For more information, contact the Maryland State of Board of Master Electricians. Apply for a Maryland Electricians License with the State.
Business licenses are issued by the Circuit Court of Maryland. Send inquiries to Business License - Montgomery County, MD Circuit Court (montgomerycountymd.gov).
