CCM Earns Several National Award Recognitions

County Cable Montgomery (CCM), the resident's source for video information from the Montgomery County Government, earned several finalist nominations and two honorable mentions for the 2017 National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) Government Programming Awards (GPS). One of the videos, Heroin: The Quiet Epidemic is also nominated for a 3CMA award this year as well. The recognitions are listed below:

  1. Category 22 – Public Health – “Heroin: The Quiet Epidemic”
  2. Category 30 – Documentary – Event Coverage – “Stories of Holocaust Survivors in Montgomery County”
  3. Category 33 – Documentary (Operating Budget over $400,000) - “Stories of Holocaust Survivors in Montgomery County”
  4. Category 44 – Government Access Station Web Site – CCM
  5. Category 5 – Public Affairs - “Health Care Rally” (honorable mention)
  6. Category 53 – Municipal Channel Promotion – “HD is Here!” PSA (honorable mention)

The winners among the finalists will be announced September 14th in Seattle, WA.
