In 2009 the Council established the Audit Committee consisting of the members of the Government Operations and Fiscal Policy Committee and the Council President and Council Vice President as ex officio members. The committee provides oversight of the financial reporting process for internal and external audits and ensures compliance with laws and regulations associated with these audits.
Jurisdiction: Issues related to external and internal audits of the County.
