For Immediate Release:  June 5, 2014

What Legislative District Do You Live In?

Watch your mailbox for your sample ballot for the upcoming primary election. Your ballot may look different this year than in the past. New boundaries affecting which members of the Maryland General Assembly represent you take effect for the 2014 elections.

If your Legislative District has changed, the new information will be printed on your sample ballot. Registered voters were also mailed an updated voter identification card last year.

The sample ballot provides information on your Congressional, Legislative, County Council, and Board of Education Districts as well as other information on the voting process. You may also find this information by using the official Polling Place Locator at www.777vote.org.

Early Voting begins next Thursday, June 12, and Election Day is June 24. If you prefer, you may request a ballot by mail. For more information, call 240-777-VOTE, visit www.777vote.org, the Maryland State Board of Elections’ website at http://elections.state.md.us, or follow the Montgomery County Board of Elections on Facebook or Twitter.
