Administrative Care Coordination-Ombudsman Program (ACCU)
Administrative Care Coordination assists county residents who are enrolled in Medical Assistance/HealthChoice with navigation of the health care system, accessing their health care benefits and local community resources including services and resources for pregnant persons. Short-term care coordination is provided as needed. The ACCU also offers outreach and education to health care providers and the community.
Ombudsman Program

The Ombudsman assists county residents enrolled in Medical Assistance/HealthChoice in resolving disputes with the Managed Care Organizations through investigation, mediation, and education. The Ombudsman helps ensure clients are receiving their health care benefits and informs them about their rights and responsibilities.
