Medical Care for Uninsured Children (Care for Kids)
Care for Kids is a health care program that provides access to health care services for uninsured children in Montgomery County. Pediatric care includes well child visits, sick visits, prescription medicines, optometry, dental, and other limited specialty care services. The program is funded through Montgomery County and administered by the Primary Care Coalition. Pediatric health care providers include Kaiser Permanente, Community Clinic, Inc., Spanish Catholic Medical Center, DHHS school based health and wellness centers, Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care, and two private physician practices.
