Interagency Commission on Homelessness - Continuum of Care 2016 Competition

The Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition is open!  HUD has approximately $1.9 billion available available this year to fund new and renewal projects.  Detailed information about the Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition can be found on the HUD website at HUD 2016 CoC Program Competition NOFA.

Montgomery County is eligible to apply for funding of up to $8,566,015 for both renewal and new projects.  In support of the CoC's strategic plan and based on the Point-in-Time, Homeless Management Information System and Housing Inventory Information, the CoC plans to allocate funding for one new project as follows:

  1. Permanent Supportive Housing for chronically homeless individuals - maximum budge of $407,905 OR
  2. Rapid Re-housing - maximum budget of $407,905

This session will provide a detailed overview of the CoC application process including a review of CoC and HUD priorities, review of requirements for project applications, and an overview of the ranking and selection process.  Please RSVP to Kim Ball at Kim.Ball@montgomerycountymd.gov if you will be able to attend the information session.
