Division of Workers Compensation
Provides legal defense for workers’ compensation cases involving Montgomery County and fourteen local government Self-Insurance Fund participants (including such entities as the Montgomery County Board of Education, City of Gaithersburg, Montgomery College, and the Housing Opportunities Commission) versus their employees. The attorneys appear regularly before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, the circuit courts in the state of Maryland, the Appellate Court of Maryland, and the Maryland Supreme Court.
