Jordan Lindsay
Jordan Lindsay joins us as a Public Information Officer with our Communications team. Previously, she worked as a Community Engagement Specialist and News Reporter with Montgomery Community Media. From 2015 to 2019, Jordan was an Anchor/Reporter with WDVM News, where she covered breaking and regional news. Throughout her career, she has built strong networks and relationships with various media outlets and the Montgomery County community. Jordan is a Broadcast Journalism graduate from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, and is a native of Plainfield, New Jersey.

Marcela Rodríguez
Marcela Rodríguez Villagrán is a Bilingual Communication Specialist and a four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, previously with Univision Washington. As the producer and host of the radio show “En Sintonía con el Concejo del Condado de Montgomery”, Rodríguez Villagrán, provides vital information to the Latino community. The Spanish language radio program can be heard on Radio America on Fridays at 2:00 p.m. online at radioamerica.net .

Mirchaye Sahlu
As a trilingual multimedia professional, Mirchaye Sahlu provides Montgomery County’s diverse residents with timely and valuable information, while also offering a direct connection to the Montgomery County Council. Throughout the pandemic, Mirchaye produced and hosted shows on an array of topics and in multiple languages for County Cable Montgomery. She also produces PSAs to educate the public, as well as news packages and long form productions. Among her duties as a producer, Mirchaye also manages the Council’s social media accounts, facilitates Amharic/French-English translation for select community events and serves consistently as the Council's community liaison to the Ethiopian and West African communities.

Lorna Virgilí
Lorna Virgilí is the County’s Hispanic Public Information Officer. She joined Montgomery County Government in 2009 bringing her expertise as a national award-winning Spanish language broadcast journalist. She began her communications career as a television news reporter and worked for Telemundo and Univision, covering the United States Capitol and the White House. She is a highly regarded community leader with consistent radio and television appearances in the Washington, D.C. region. In 2012, she launched “Montgomery al Día”, the County’s first Spanish language radio show. She conveys high-quality informational programming to CCM in both English and Spanish. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Virgili’s knowledge served to design and implement outreach campaigns directed to the County’s Hispanic community. She also serves as moderator at public forums and media press briefings by the Office of the County Executive. She hosts “Montgomery Al Día” on Radio America, Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m., online at radioamerica.net.
