Station Drills On Foam Theory

In an effort to refresh and/or teach our personnel about firefighting foams, the PSTA is sending out a series of short drills. They are meant to be used in order. They will not be an exhaustive reference work on foam, but will instead focus on the basic concepts that we need to know in order to use the equipment that we will be receiving in the near future. We would ask that you use these drills in the station.

It is the hope of the PSTA that these drills will prepare personnel for the formal CAFS training program. It is anticipated that this training will begin a few weeks before the arrival of the first batch of new engines.
