Energy Assistance Programs

This office administers the the Maryland Energy Assistance Program (MEAP), Electric Universal Services Program (EUSP), Program, Utility Service Protection, Furnace Repair/Replacement and Weatherization.  MEAP helps eligible families with the cost of winter heating. The amount of your MEAP grant is based on your income and the type of fuel used for heat.  The grant is a one time only payment per heating season and is intended to cover part of your heating costs.  Your MEAP grant is sent directly to your heating supplier.
