Starting January 1st, 2008, Seniors and people with disabilities can ride FREE anytime on Ride On buses and *Metrobuses in Montgomery County. Seniors must be 65 years or older and have a valid Metro Senior ID Card or Medicare Card with photo ID and persons with disabilities must have a valid Metro Disabled ID Card. National Association of Homebuilders and the National Organization on Disability (NOD) award the National Disability Initiative Award to the Maryland National Capitol Building Industry Association for its collaboration in helping to create Design for Life Montgomery.
