The System Planning and Management - Core Service Agency team (CSA-SPM) is part of Montgomery Government and it is the local behavioral health, mental health and substance abuse, authority in Montgomery County. This team strives to ensure that behavioral health consumers have access to quality treatment and rehabilitation services. The CSA-SPM provides for the planning, oversight, monitoring, evaluation and service development of the State of Maryland Public Mental Health System and community based services in Montgomery County. The CSA-SPM is committed to foster a welcoming environment for consumers, families, advocates and our partners in the community. Although the CSA-SPM team does not provide direct services, the team does monitor and plan for current and future behavioral health services in Montgomery County across the lifespan.
