Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) offers
wireless access to the Internet via the Library’s
network. This Wi-Fi service is available to anyone
who brings his own properly configured equipment
to the library.
Wi-Fi is available at all branches
with the exception of the Noyes Library for
Young Children and the Correctional
Facility Library.

Use of MCPL’s wireless network constitutes
an agreement to be bound by the terms of MCPL’s
Internet Use Policy. This is available from
MCPL's website. Please read the policy before using
the service. Failure
to
comply
with
the policy guidelines can lead to loss of network
access, suspension of library privileges, and/or
prosecution.
Please be advised that:
- The Library is not responsible for insuring
the privacy of information you transfer over
our network. Virus and security protection is
the customer’s responsibility.
- The Library assumes no responsibility for damage,
theft, or loss of a customer’s equipment,
software, data files or other personal property
brought into or used at the Library's facilities.
- Library staff is not able to provide technical
assistance.
- There is no guarantee that you will have wireless
access at any library branch at any specific
time or with any specific equipment. Service
disruptions may occur, and some equipment may
not be compatible.
- The Library does not guarantee that you will
have access to every Internet site using the
WIFI connection.
