Registration Form Madness
Confusion in the Fall Guide Over Recreation vs. Parks Forms

If you were confused by the new format and the registration forms of the Fall Guide, we apologize.

The folks here at MCRD and our pals over at Parks thought it would be a great idea to combine the activities in one comprehensive guide. Registration forms for MCRD and Parks classes were often confused.Recreation, Parks and Leisure programs are a natural fit together, so it only seemed to make great sense to put them together into one fantastic, fun publication.

We recognize that the registration process and paperwork can be confusing and we are taking steps to better clarify the paperwork--and the process of registration.

“People will hopefully understand this was the first step of making it easier for everyone to sign up for the classes they want—whether it’s one of ours or through Parks,” said Ginny Horvath, IT Supervisor for MCRD.

In the upcoming Winter Guide, look for better marking of the forms and more delineation of the MCRD and Parks activities. Please be sure to let us know what you think of our new exciting combined brochure!
