Directions to the Charles W. Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity-Wheaton Site From the North (Rockville): Take Viers Mill south to University Boulevard, make a left, cross Georgia Avenue, take the first right after Georgia Avenue onto Elkin Street. 11319 Elkin Street is halfway down the block on the left. Parking is down the street in the Public Parking Lot/Metro Garage. Once on Elkin, go to the end of the street, take a left on Price Street. At the corner take a right onto Fern Street. Garage will be on your left side. From Olney: Take Georgia Avenue south to University Boulevard, make a left onto University Boulevard, cross Georgia Avenue, take the first right after Georgia Avenue onto Elkin Street. 11319 Elkin Street is halfway down the block on the left. Parking is down the street in the Public Parking Lot/Metro Garage. Once on Elkin, go to the end of the street, take a left on Price Street. At the corner take a right onto Fern Street. Garage will be on your left side. From the South: From 495: Take Georgia Avenue north (Exit 31) to University Boulevard. Once on Elkin, go to the end of the street, take a left on Price Street. At the corner take a right onto Fern Street. Garage will be on your left side. From the East (Four Corners): Take University Boulevard (193) east to Elkin Street (located between Amherst Street and Georgia Avenue). Take a left onto Elkin Street. 11319 Elkin Street is halfway down the block on the left. Parking is down the street in the Public Parking Lot/Metro Garage. Once on Elkin, go to the end of the street, take a left on Price Street. At the corner take a right onto Fern Street. Garage will be on your left side. From the West (Kensington): Take Connecticut Avenue (185) east. Stay to the right at the "Y" (Pizza Hut) intersection. It becomes University Boulevard (193). Stay on University Boulevard. Cross Georgia Avenue, take the first right after Georgia Avenue onto Elkin Street. 11319 Elkin Street is halfway down the block on the left. Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity-Up County Site The Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity Up County site is located within the Upcounty Regional Services Center is located at the intersection of Middlebrook Road and MD Route 118. Take I-270 North to MD Route 118 South, (Exit 15B). Turn right at Middlebrook Road. The Regional Services Center Building is located on the corner of Middlebrook Road and Route 118.
