Discovery Time!
William Romero of Silver Spring gets a huge kick out of MCRD’s Camp Discovery for kids and teens with physical disabilities. Co-sponsored with MCPS, this unique Therapeutic Recreation summer camp allowed kids to play sports, cook and partake in physical and occupational therapies with the aid of adaptative tools and equipment, such as a large beach ball used for soccer.
