Fiscal Year 2016
Adopt A Road Clean Sweeps Award Winners

SweepingThe Montgomery County Department of Transportation sponsors the Adopt A Road (AAR) program. More than 430 road segments and spots have been adopted by more than 1,000 individuals, groups and business volunteers who regularly pick up litter to keep pollutants out of our waterways.

The Clean Sweeps Awards recognize those groups and individuals who have done a truly extraordinary job in keeping their adopted road segments clean. Awards are presented to the AAR volunteers that reported the highest number of cleanings and the most bags of trash and debris collected during fiscal year 2016 (July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016).
