On-Site Commuter Information Fairs

Montgomery County Commuter Services staff can visit your worksite on a pre-arranged day, for about two hours to promote commuting alternatives in creative ways.

We come equipped with a host of information including the latest schedules for Metro and Ride On, MARC, VRE, Commuter Buses, Shuttles and information about Carpooling, Vanpooling, Biking or Walking to Work, Guaranteed Ride Home, Parking Management, Car sharing, Bike sharing and other available commute options.

Conducting a "Commuter Information Day" at your worksite delivers transportation-related information to your employees and how it affects their commute to and from the workplace.  We also feature special prizes for everyone who visits our display. Our team is very knowledgeable and can answer your employee's questions about their specific commute-to-work needs.

Send Commuter Services an e-mail to arrange a Commuter Information Day.

Biennial Commuter Survey

Every other year, Montgomery County Commuter Services distributes the BIENNIAL COMMUTER SURVEY to selected employers, to be completed by their employees, to help determine commuter driving and transit patterns.

Montgomery County Commuter Services also uses this confidential employee commute survey as a tool to obtain valuable information, which is then used for transportation planning and to improve transportation services in the County and Region.

By participating in the Biennial Commuter Survey, you are helping to improve Montgomery County's quality of life and making it an even better place to live and work.

If you are a Montgomery County employer interested in participating in the Biennial Commuter Survey, please telephone Commuter Services, 240-773-2989, or send us an e-mail.
