Forest Glen Passageway Feasibility Study

Description : This project provides for feasibility study for a new passageway (underpass or bridge) across Georgia Avenue (MD 97) at Forest Glen Road to improve pedestrian safety for the Georgia/Forest Glen Road intersection crossing and enhance access to the Forest Glen Metro Station. The passageway will cross Georgia Avenue and tie-into the existing Forest Glen Metrorail Station. The scope includes developing and evaluating preliminary alignments, developing conceptual design (15% design), conducting public meeting, solicting public input, developing final feasibility study report and recommendation.
