MCER NO. 3-05T:  TEMPORARY FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE REGULATION - Integrated Emergency Command Structure

SUMMARY:  This temporary regulation, adopts an interim Integrated Emergency Command Structure (IECS) which provides a chain of command for use in the command and control of all incidents, that applies to all IECS certified Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel.  The regulation is intended to begin adapting the recently reorganized MCFRS operational structure into a Standardized Incident Management System, to make it consistent with the regional, state, and national emergency management plan which will achieve the legislative intent of Section 21-1(a)(3) of the County Code.  Integrated Emergency Command Structure, superseded 2-01 and became effective January 14, 2005.
