MCER NO. 12-12:     ADOPTED FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE REGULATION
Fire Safety Code Inspections, Permits, Licenses, Exceptions, and Fees

SUMMARY:  This regulation would reflect the move of new construction inspections related to Fire Code requirements to the Department of Permitting Services.  For inspections, permits, and licenses that remain the responsibility of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, the regulation clarifies when payments are due, defines total inspection time, reduces the penalty accrual amount, and clarifies fees charged.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 12-12 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective July 30, 2013.

MCER NO. 5-13AM:     ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REGULATION 
Solid Waste Tonnage Reporting

SUMMARY:  This regulation describes the reporting procedures for collectors and haulers collecting, hauling, or transporting solid waste or recycling.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 5-13AM was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective July 30, 2013.

AUTHORIZATION AND PROCEDURAL METHOD:  Montgomery County Code, 2004, Chapter 48, Section 48-47.  Method 2.
