MCER NO. 18-16:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REGULATION
 Fee Schedule, Signs and Temperature Requirements for Tanning Facilities
SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes a licensing fee schedule; specifies required signage to include a statement that the use of tanning facilities by a minor is a violation of County Code; and, sets maximum ambient temperature inside the facility.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 18-16 was promulgated under the Method 3 process and became effective March 1, 2017.

MCER NO. 1-17:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGULATION
                           Transportation Services Improvement Fund
SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes the procedures for disbursing monies from the Transportation Services Improvement Fund.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 1-17 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective July 25, 2017.

MCER NO. 2-17:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS REGULATION
 Establishing Inspection Fees
SUMMARY:  This regulation sets forth a schedule of fees, and guidelines for assessing those fees, for certain inspections conducted as part of a triennial inspection or an annual inspection of rental housing required under Sections 29-22(a) and 29-22(b) of the Montgomery County Code, and inspections of rental housing conducted as part of a corrective action plan under Section 29-22(c) of the Code.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 2-17 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective July 18, 2017.

MCER NO. 6-17AM:   ADOPTED OFFICE OF COMMUNITY USE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES REGULATION
                                Before and After School Childcare Programs in Public Schools
SUMMARY:  This regulation amends Executive Regulation 15-14AMV and implements Resolution No. 19-13, which was adopted by the Board of Education of Montgomery County on January 8, 2013.  Resolution No. 19-13 delegates to the Interagency Coordinating Board for the Community Use of Public Facilities the authority to schedule the before and after school childcare programs in Montgomery County Public School facilities.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 6-17AM was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective August 25, 2017.

MCER NO. 9-17AM:   ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION
                                Telework
SUMMARY:  This regulation implements Bill 12-14, Telework, enacted by the Council on July 31, 2014.  This regulation amends Section 15 of the Montgomery County Personnel Regulations to require the Director of the Office of Human Resources to designate a County telework manager and to provide training for eligible County employees.  The County telework manager will be responsible for providing advice to County departments, developing a standard telework agreement, and identifying procedures and training for eligible County employees.  The regulation requires the Chief Administrative Officer to report annually to the County Executive and the County Council on the County telework program.
ACTION:  Executive Regulation 9-17AM was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 review process, effective July 25, 2017.
