The federal government has created a map of areas without access to 100/20 Mbps internet service. $267 million in Maryland will be invested to bring broadband to these areas. A property must be listed on the broadband map as either having no service or having less than 100/20 Mbps service to be eligible for grant funding.
Deadline Extended: Any challenges to this map must be submitted by Montgomery County. Please complete the form by Monday, September 9, at 11:59 pm to tell us if you do not have internet access or if your internet access is less than 100/20 Mbps. If you want a challenge submitted because your internet speed is slow, you must take an internet speed test at www.speedtest.net on 3 different days and upload photos of these speed tests and your internet bill.
