Middle Eastern American Advisory Group (MEAAG)
Welcome to the web page of the County Executive’s Middle Eastern American Advisory Group (MEAAG). MEAAG was formed in July, 2008, and is part of a network of Advisory Groups. The mission of MEAAG is to better connect the linguistically and culturally diverse Middle Eastern American communities with Montgomery County government and to encourage greater participation of Middle Eastern Americans in the political, economic, civic, and cultural life of the county. MEAAG influences improvements to county policies by bringing community concerns, issues and opportunities to the attention of county leadership. MEAAG actively communicates county services and resources to diverse and often hard-to-reach Middle Eastern American communities.
