Keeping Seniors Safe
"We are currently looking for volunteers to become part of the Keeping Seniors Safe program. Be part of our team!"
Keeping Seniors Safe (KSS) is a program that was established to increase awareness of safety issues within the senior community and to provide guidance and resources to seniors regarding these issues. Click here to view a pamphlet about KSS services.
Keeping Seniors Safe members offer free information and will talk to community groups about topics including:
- safe shopping habits
- parking lot safety
- home safety
- emergency preparedness
- fraud and scams
- identity theft
- elder abuse
- county resources
These briefings usually last about an hour and include time for audience questions and comments.
- Contact the Keeping Seniors Safe Program (call or email) if you would like more information.
