Blackleaf Organic Vodka is the creation of Washington, DC resident, Kevin Larkai. He met Bertrand Laclie by chance while vacationing in Cognac (France) and they bonded over a shared passion for the creation of premium consumer experiences. They decided to make an organic and environment-friendly spirit through the lens of style and elegance, which birthed the premium + organic theme that remains at the heart of Blackleaf Vodka today. Kevin’s goal is to truly redefine the experience of drinking -- he is passionate about shaping the consumer product brands of the future and creating quality products that also look beautiful.

Blackleaf Vodka uses organic winter wheat that is untouched by pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. Their wheat remains organic from the moment it is planted until it’s harvested, earning it a USDA-NOP organic certification. Plus, the brand is made with spring water naturally filtered through champagne limestone. The unique taste of this water lends to Blackleaf’s bold character.

Cocktail Corner:

Recipe:
2oz Blackleaf Organic Vodka
2oz Prosecco
1oz Elderflower Liqueur
1oz Lemon Juice
Shake all ingredients except Prosecco with ice and strain in a flute glass. Top with Prosecco.

Recipe:
1.5oz Blackleaf Organic Vodka
1oz Chamomile Tea
0.5oz Pineau Des Charentes
0.5oz Agave Syrup
0.25oz Yuzu Juice
Activated Charcoal (1 capsule)
Shake with ice and strain into a coupe or martini glass.
