Wedgewood
Focused Neighborhood Assistance Project

Located in Gaithersburg, the Wedgewood community consists of 80 townhomes built in 1976.  A Visual Assessment Survey conducted by Neighborhood Revitalization staff confirmed the need for improvement projects to support a safer, more appealing community. In consultation with the HOA's Board of Directors, specific improvement projects were identified, including repairs to hazardous cracked and uneven community sidewalks, installation of a new handicapped parking space with striping, installation of new landscaping materials at targeted areas to deter trash dumping and loitering, installation of a new paved walking and access path for residents living along the eastern-most community property line, and targeted groundwater management solutions.  The project was completed in mid-2024.
