Regional Site Runners (RSR) serve on election night at one of several intake locations throughout the county to assist Board of Elections staff with the prompt and accurate receipt of polling place materials on election night.
Responsibilities:
- At the assigned location, assist with preparation to receive polling place deliveries
- Receive and review chain of custody documents and certify the receipt of election materials from assigned polling places
- Use a computer/tablet to document inventory and status of polling place deliveries
- Complete all required training
- Able to speak clearly, listen well and be friendly and welcoming
- Able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Able to work outside in inclement weather
- Able to follow procedures; written and verbal instructions
- Ability to accurately verify and document the receipt of equipment and materials
- Good communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- This is a part-day, evening position.
- Election Day Service Hours: 7:30 pm until drop off is completed (approximately 11:30 pm).
- Election Day Payment: $85.00. Training Payment: $50.00
