Voting Operations – Provisional (VOP-P) Election Judges assist voters who need to submit additional information to determine or update their eligibility to vote (referred to as provisional voters). The VOP-P explains to voters why they must vote provisionally and guides voters through the provisional voting process. They fill in critical information on the provisional ballot applications and make sure the voters have completed and signed the documents. They issue paper ballots, explain how to mark the ballots, and make sure the ballots are voted securely.
