FAQ's
How do I get a Coordinator of Community Services?
Once the Developmental Disabilities Administration determines an individual eligible for services, the person selects a CCS agency. Montgomery County DHHS is at capacity and therefore is not an option for newly eligible people. See DDA's website for other CCS agencies.
What are Transitioning Youth Services and where do I get more information?
Transitioning Youth case management services assist students with developmental disabilities in the process of exiting from the school system, and their families with transitioning into adult services for ongoing supports through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). The DDA Services include adult vocational training, day habilitation, or supported employment services. If you need more information on Transitioning Youth -see link below or call DDA’s Southern Maryland Regional Office at 301-362-5100.
