As a reminder, items listed below must be satisfied no later than April 30, 2024 in order to pick up your alcoholic beverage license.
- Outstanding State Taxes (Contact Maryland Comptroller's Office, 410-767-1630)
- Any monies owed to the Alcohol Beverage Services for product
- Any monies owed to the Alcohol Beverage Services, LRE Division for outstanding fines
- Unmet Alcohol Law Education and Regulation Training (ALERT) mandates sanctioned by the Board of License Commissioners

For ease in paying for product and in order to receive deliveries, and place an order for special order products, please set up an Automated Clearing House (ACH) account to allow for direct debits from a banking account.
If you apply for a license transfer, pending the issuance of your license, you cannot receive deliveries, or place an order for special order products, from ABS unless:- The licensee that still holds the license (the transferor) has terminated their ACH account with ABS; and
- You (the transferee) have set up an ACH account with ABS

Businesses with a Class B, Beer, Wine and Liquor License are eligible to apply for a catering privilege to be able to provide alcohol, with food, at an event. The catering privilege is free although a license printing fee will be assessed ($20) if the change is not made on the annual alcohol license renewal application. During renewals, no fee will be assessed. The licensing office needs to be notified of events via online submission of a catering notification form. Once approved, a permit will be emailed to you for printing and posting at the event.
