Division of Insurance Defense Litigation

Provides legal defense for cases involving Montgomery County and seven other governmental entities which participate in the Montgomery County Self-Insurance Program (including such entities as the Board of Education for Montgomery County, Montgomery College and the Housing Opportunities Commission) and all of their employees. The attorneys appear regularly before state and federal courts in Maryland for trials and oral arguments and occasionally appear in the District of Columbia. The Litigation Team is involved in litigation in the following areas:
