Limited Scope Representation
The Maryland Lawyers’ Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 1.2 and the Maryland Rules of Procedure, Rules 1-321, 1-324, 2-131, and 2-132, were amended effective July 1, 2015, to permit lawyers to provide limited scope representation in civil and family law proceedings.
To help orient lawyers to limited scope representation, the court is providing links to the following information:
