Remote Proceedings Team

The Remote Proceedings Team was created to support the Family Magistrates in conducting their remote hearings, as well as mitigating all of the front-end work associated with making sure that the hearings proceed in a timely and efficient manner. The team collects emails for litigants and counsel in the many scheduling hearings, uncontested divorce hearings, settlement conferences and pre-trial settlements that are heard by the Magistrates each week. Additionally, the team enables participation in the virtual hearings by sending out Zoom links to parties and counsel and by providing facilitation support in the Magistrates’ hearing rooms during proceedings. The team sends out the links to proceedings to be held virtually one week prior to the scheduled hearing. Parties and/or counsel can contact the Remote Proceedings Team with any questions or concerns at 240-777-9015
