Emails for your COVID-19 vaccine appointments at Montgomery County-run clinics

You will get several emails after you preregister to get your COVID-19 vaccine at a Montgomery County-run clinic.

We will send you updates to let you know about our vaccination progress.

When it is your turn for an appointment at a County-run clinic, we will contact you.

First Dose Appointment

You will get two emails about your first dose appointment.

First dose - Email 1

From: C19vaccination, c19vaccination@montgomerycountymd.gov
Subject: 1st Dose Vaccination Notification

  • This email invites you to come to a Montgomery County-run vaccine clinic.
  • It tells you that your appointment link will be coming in a separate email. You must use that link to schedule your appointment.
  • It includes instructions for using your appointment link.

First dose - Email 2

From: Vaccination Clinics, no-reply@multistatep4p.com
Subject: COVID-19 Registration Invitation

  • This email includes your first dose appointment scheduling link. It will also tell you the available clinic location, date, and times.
  • You must schedule an appointment location, date, and time to be able to receive your dose.
  • If all of the times are taken before you schedule, we send you another invitation for a later date.

Second Dose Appointment

If your first dose was a Johnson & Johnson vaccine
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine requires only one dose. You will not get a second dose invitation.

If your first dose was a Moderna vaccine
Your second dose is recommended 28 days after your first dose. We will send you a second dose invitation 4 to 7 days before your second dose is due.

If your first dose was a Pfizer vaccine
Your second dose is recommended 21 days after your first dose. We will send you a second dose invitation 4 to 7 days before your second dose is due.

If you do not get your second dose invitation

If you got your first dose at a Montgomery County-run clinic, and do not get your second dose invitation e-mail from the County within 3 days of your second dose due date, contact us at C19Vaccination@montgomerycountymd.gov or 240-777-1755.

We always maintain a supply of second dose vaccine for residents who received their first dose from the County.
