  1. Citizenship preparation classes offered by the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center

    Our classes are offered for 10 weeks in the fall, winter, spring, and 8 weeks in the summer. In our classes, you will:

    • learn about the citizenship application form
    • practice interview questions and learn about U.S. history and civics to practice interview questions

  • Students may only register for ONE class.
  • Must have been a permanent resident for at least four years (two years if married to a U.S. citizen).
  • Must be a Montgomery County, MD resident, 18 years or older.
  • All classes are taught in English. At least basic English required.

The Saturday in-person class is at the Gaithersburg Library.
