Mental Health:

  • Free crisis services available by phone or in person, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No appointment necessary. Crisis assessments and treatment referrals provided. Mobile Crisis Team will go anywhere in the County to respond to mental health emergencies.

  • Services are free and confidential. Provides supportive listening, information and resource referrals, and crisis intervention (including suicide assessments) through telephone, text, and chat services.

  • Services include emergency financial assistance, shelter to families and adults who are homeless or at risk of losing housing, victims of community disasters, persons stranded from their homes, and more.

Shelter Services: 240-907-2688
  • Provides coordination of services to homeless individuals and families. Emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing.

  • ​Free services for victims of domestic violence.
  • Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment needed
  • Counseling, referrals for food, shelter, clothing, legal services, etc.

  • Services for child and adolescent victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect

  • For victims of domestic violence.  Provides counseling, shelter, support and advocacy

  • To report abuse of older adults and adults with disabilities

  • Provides counseling and information and referral for victims of crimes such as rape/sexual assault, human trafficking, homicide, torture, hate crimes, robbery, carjacking, auto theft, arson, vandalism.
