• Aging and Disability Resource Unit: (240) 777-3000  
  • Provides information and referrals to seniors, people with disabilities, and caregivers. Staff tell residents about benefits and services, help them determine what they are eligible for, and can also help them apply.

  • A directory of providers that provide disability services.

• Catholic Charities’ Developmental Disabilities Services
  • Provides programs to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families and caretakers.

• Transportation Network Directory for People with Disabilities and Adults 50+
• Maryland Durable Medical Equipment Re-Use
  • The Maryland Department of Aging is providing durable medical equipment (DME) to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost. All equipment is collected via donation and is sanitized, repaired, and redistributed to Marylanders in need.  Examples include wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs and tub transfer benches, toilet and bed safety rails, home hospital beds, etc.

  • Montgomery County Recreation provides accessible recreation, leisure skills, and personal development activities for individuals with disabilities through adaptive programs and inclusion.
