The following resources can help you find legal assistance for free or low-cost. These services are generally limited to low-income residents. If you are looking for immigration help, please visit our Immigration Legal Services page.

- Maryland Legal Services Corporation
- Use filter boxes to search for organizations that handle specific types of legal issues in Montgomery County (and other Counties).
- The People’s Law Library of Maryland
- Online Legal Service Directory allows users to search for providers in Montgomery County (and other Counties) which handle specific types of legal cases.
- Bar Foundation of Montgomery County’s Pro Bono Program: 301-424-7651
- Call Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to see if you are eligible for free legal services from a volunteer attorney.

- Provides database of lawyers for those in Maryland who don’t qualify for free legal help. The program may be able to find you a lawyer for a reduced fee. Search based on Area of Law and County.
