Mediation & Conflict Resolution (Outside of Court)

- Services include mediation, youth services, conflict management workshops and training.

- Helps mediate disputes between landlords and tenants, and also provides several other housing services.

- Offers free, neutral mediation services for consumers and merchants (businesses), conducted by expertly trained mediators who volunteer their services.

- Call Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to see if you are eligible for free legal services from a volunteer attorney. Must be low-income to qualify.

- If you have a problem with a business, you can file a consumer complaint with Montgomery County’s Office of Consumer Protection. Complaint form is available in English and Spanish. If it is the type of case that OCP handles, they will investigate and help try to resolve the issue.
