Multiple Needs The resources below provide help with multiple needs, such as financial help, food assistance, and/or other services. Contact each office directly for the most current information on services provided. If you cannot find what you're looking for from the information below, call us at (240) 777-4940 (Mon to Fri, 9am—5pm) or visit us at one of our locations to ask about programs that can help you.
Services Provided Countywide
- Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (MCDHHS)
- MCDHHS provides many different programs for various needs, including: Aging and Disability Services; Behavioral Health and Crisis Services; Children, Youth and Family Services; Health Services; and Housing. Use the menu bar at the top of the DHHS website to learn about the different programs available in Montgomery County.

- Montgomery County’s Service Consolidation Hubs
- Provide food assistance, diapers, and other basic necessities from several locations throughout the County. Some Hubs can also connect residents with other necessary services.

- Catholic Charities
- Provides food and clothing assistance, housing, employment programs, health care, legal and financial assistance, and more. Provides services regardless of religious, social, or economic background. Several offices throughout Washington, D.C., Montgomery County, and other counties in MD.
- Catholic Charities Center (Silver Spring) helps Montgomery County clients complete applications for benefits and financial assistance programs including food stamps, Temporary Cash Assistance, rent/mortgage/utility assistance and health care.
- Spanish Catholic Center (Gaithersburg) provides case management services, medical and dental clinics, job training programs, English classes, food pantry, and more.

- Provides emergency financial and food assistance, case management, and other services. Several offices throughout the DMV area.
- Montgomery County Corps provides social services, emergency assistance, food distributions, and other seasonal assistance.
- Sheppard Pratt
- Offers many programs in the areas of health and mental health, housing, employment, developmental disabilities, and more. Several offices throughout MD. Emergency financial assistance may also be provided in limited cases.

- Provides hot meals on-site and to-go meals. Eye clinic serves patients without vision insurance. Resource Center provides information and referrals to support services, personal mail and telephone use, transportation assistance to reach the shelter, toiletries and blankets, prescription assistance, and basic case management services.

- Health and social wellness agency which provides services in mental health, employment, hospice, homecare, managing chronic illness, aging in place, services for disabled individuals, and more.

- Provides various classes and programs like citizenship classes, adult ESOL, exercise classes, programs for seniors and children, and more.

- Provides tailored and targeted case management, SNAP and Medicaid enrollment, job readiness programs, notary services, community closet, monthly women's hygiene products distribution, and health education workshops.

- Focuses on Latino youth and their families who live in high poverty areas of the County (also serves non-Latino youth and families). Provides youth development programs, academic support, workforce development, case management, mental health and substance abuse counseling, and more. - Membership-based organization serving Latino and other immigrant communities. Provides English and Citizenship Preparation classes, tax preparation, legal services, vocational training, youth leadership development, and advocacy. Offices in MD, VA, PA, and GA.

- Provides services to low-income families & immigrants from diverse backgrounds through programs in community development, immigration support services, healthcare, landlord/tenant intervention, and more.

- Serves the Chinese American community and other communities by providing educational, healthcare, recreational, and other services to children, seniors, the low-income, non-native English speakers, and anyone who is in need of assistance.
