Linda Perlman, First Partial Term (2024)
Linda Perlman is a retired attorney who practiced for more than 30 years with the law firm of Silber, Perlman, Sigman & Tilev, P.A. (and its predecessor firms) in Takoma Park, Maryland. During her legal career, she represented local governments (municipalities) and was active in statewide legal organizations, including the Maryland Municipal Attorneys Association and the State and Local Government Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association. Her general civil practice areas included estate planning, second parent adoptions, contracts, family law, and real estate.
Linda volunteers with the AARP Tax-Aide Program to provide free tax preparation services for seniors and moderate-income persons. She is a past president of the Northwood-Four Corners Civic Association (“NFCCA”) and has frequently written articles on community issues for the Northwood News (recently renamed the North Four Corners News), the newsletter of the NFCCA. Linda is a Montgomery County native who grew up in the Forest Knolls neighborhood of Silver Spring. She is a graduate of Northwood High School, Emory University, and the University of North Carolina School of Law.
