Aikido
Aikido seeks to use the force and energy of an attacker against them, rather than meeting force with force, and it can be practiced by almost anyone. Aikido also focuses on achieving harmony and peace within oneself.
Karate/Jujitsu
Karate is one of the most well-known martial arts and is a great choice for basic self-defense and exercise. Karate utilizes strikes, blocks, evasion, throws, and manipulations of the joints. are classes for people of all ages, and all skill levels.
JuJitsu provides ways to defend against attacks both while standing or on the ground, whereas most styles teach primarily standing attacks and defense.
Judo
Judo is a sport of unarmed combat derived from jujitsu and intended to train the body and mind. It involves using holds and leverage to unbalance the opponent.
Vovinam
Vovinam is practiced with and without weapons. It is based on the principle of between hard and soft. It includes training of the body as well as the mind and uses force and reaction of the opponent.
