Register

• We encourage team managers to register online at www.activemontgomery.org.
• If assistance is needed for registration call 240-777-6840, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Rosters

• All players must join and sign the appropriate team roster online before the third week of the season.
• Every player must be listed on the team roster.

Playoffs

• Teams with timely submitted and signed rosters qualify for the playoffs. These games are in addition to the regular game schedule. Playoff information will be found in the online description.

Scheduling Requests

• Any scheduling considerations/requests must be made at the time of registration, but are not guaranteed. Games will not be changed after schedules have been completed.

Free Agents

• Individuals looking for a team are encouraged to register via  ActiveMONTGOMERY as a free agent.
• Registering as a free agent automatically adds you to a free agent pool. Your contact information will be included in a weekly free agent report distributed to all team managers searching for players.
• Placement is not guaranteed. Team managers seeking additional players will contact you directly if interested.

Fees

• See ActiveMONTGOMERY.org or the flyer for league fees.
• Forfeit Fee – Any team forfeiting two games will be dropped from the league unless they post a $100 forfeit fee for reinstatement.

Payment Plans

• Optional team payment plans are available when registering through ActiveMontgomery. The first half of the payment is due upon registration and the second half is due according to the date set with the activity online, typically the second or third week of the season.

Refund Policy

• No refunds after the schedules are released or posted on the Recreation website.

Rosters

All players are required to join the team roster online. No paper rosters will be required. Once the team manager registers the team on ActiveMONTGOMERY, the team manager is responsible for sharing the registration code that he/she created with the team members. Players must use the registration code to join the team online. Players who are unable to join the team online may complete a paper roster registration form and submit it to the league coordinator.

To see which players have registered on your roster online, view the “Managing your Team” document under the Team Managers Information section. You will be able to remove players from your roster online and players can add themselves to the roster until two days before the 3 rd week of games.

Need additional players?

Email your league coordinator to be added to the weekly free agent report distribution list. The report is emailed out every Monday morning. Feel free to contact players from this directly. Once you confirm that the player would like to be added to your team, please notify the league coordinator so the player can be transferred to your roster.

NOTE: Once the player enrolls as a free agent, he/she does NOT need to join your team roster online. The player must be transferred by the league coordinator.
