Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023 Work Plan

The 2030 Plan details how the County Government and its partner agencies will build a county without serious or fatal injuries on our roadways by 2030. To make progress on each action item, the County released its fiscal years 2022 and 2023 work plan detailing what will be completed between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023. Community Review of the Draft Vision Zero 2030 Plan (Complete) 

Download and review the draft Plan and supporting documents that were developed as part of building the Plan. This version was released in April 2021 and was open for community review and feedback through June 30, 2021.

Plan Feedback Survey (Complete) 

The 2030 Action Plan feedback survey closed on Monday, June 21. The County is currently analyzing the feedback and incorporating it into the final version of the 2030 Plan. Thanks to everyone that took the time to read the plan and provide comments!

 

Community Review Sessions (Complete) 

The County hosted virtual community sessions during April and May 2021 for the draft 2030 Plan to answer questions and gather resident feedback. There were five sessions, one for each region of the county, though residents could attend any meeting. Thank you to everyone that took the time to attend!

2030 Strategic Plan Development - Phase One (Complete)

Help our County eliminate serious and fatal traffic crashes in the coming decade! The County is creating a Vision Zero strategy and needs your input to make it happen. online meeting View a recording of the virtual town hall where County Executive Marc Elrich, County Council Vice President Tom Hucker, and Vision Zero Coordinator Wade Holland provided updates on the Vision Zero program, gave an overview of the next steps for creating the 10-year strategy, and responded to audience questions.

    Phase I: Collect community feedback, gather data, and research leading practices

    Phase II: Workgroups meet to develop the strategies and action items

  • Develop first draft of 10-year strategy and 2-year action plan

  • Publish the Vision Zero 10-year strategy and 2-year action plan
