Internship Opportunity

The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security is recruiting for the 2017 Fall Internship Program period (Mid September -  November/December). This intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects/assignments within the organization.

The Fall 2017 Intern(s) will gain experience while working projects/assignments such as:

  • Creating a strategy for the OEMHS website & social media platforms with updates to content & graphics 
  • Working with the outreach coordinator on National Preparedness Month events and other outreach activities
  • Assisting the office with various planning and operations projects
  • Participating in available training and exercises

Who may apply:

  • Students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program

Internship Details

  • Pay: Unpaid
  • Duration: Mid September - November/Decemeber
  • Time Commitment: Interns are required to commit at least 15-20 hours per week.
