Terrorism

An act of terrorism can include bombings, kidnappings, cyber attacks, and the use of chemical or biological weapons. Targets can include government institutions, corporate centers, large community events or civilian infrastructure.

If a terrorist attack occurs, it is vital to follow all instructions given by local law enforcement or government officials.

Keep the following tips in mind:

  • Always be aware of your surroundings.

  • Know where exits and emergency exits are in buildings.

  • When traveling, report any suspicious packages or behavior to local law enforcement.

  • Check your emergency kit regularly. Be prepared to go without electricity, phone, and internet.

If you see something suspicious report it by calling 9-1-1.
