SYMPOSIUM ON CAPITAL PROJECT COST ESTIMATION
Montgomery County Government hosted a proactive symposium on September 15, 2008 at The American Film Institute in Silver Spring, Maryland to learn more about capital project cost estimation from government and private sector experts, who discuss cost estimating methodologies, identify causes of cost increases and present strategies to contain costs, and address budgeting for "risk" and contingencies.
