Recycle at Apartments and Condos
Multi-Family Recycling Program (TRRAC)
What is TRRAC
All multi-family properties (apartments and condominiums) are required to recycle and those properties with seven or more dwelling units must report their recycling activities to Montgomery County each year. The TRRAC (Think, Reduce and Recycle at Apartments and Condominiums) Program provides education, outreach, training and technical assistance to multi-family property owners, managers, staff, green team members, haulers/collectors and residents to reduce waste and recycle more at apartments and condominiums, aiming for Zero Waste.
Food Scraps Recycling at Multi-Family Properties
Here is a sample template survey (WORD) for multi-family property managers, property owners, and green committees who would like to gauge their residents' interest in starting a food scraps recycling program at their multi-family properties. You may also download the Food Scraps Recycling Brochure (PDF).
